I’m grateful to have called Colorado home for the majority of my life, having moved here from eastern Nebraska when I was just two years old. I grew up in Fort Collins and studied Political Science, History, and Secondary Education at Colorado State University.
After graduation I pursued my love of travel and adventure, beginning as a scuba dive instructor in Thailand and culminating in work on a luxury cruise ship as an assistant host and water sports coordinator. But, Colorado tends to call people back. My wife and I traded in the ocean for the mountains and returned to Fort Collins to start a family. I dedicated 10 amazing years working as an educator in Poudre School District, teaching economics, government, and history, before deciding to commit myself full-time to real estate. As an educator, one of my main focuses was building positive relationships and trust with students, and always working through the lens of what’s best for them. I now apply this same dedication to working for my clients in real estate.
People have a lot of choices when it comes to real estate professionals. My local area knowledge of Northern Colorado over the past three decades, in combination with a focus on building strong and trusting relationships throughout the community, allow me to serve my clients in a way that makes their own adventure in real estate straightforward and enjoyable. I actively listen to my client’s needs and, with their input, create a concrete plan of action to ensure success. I offer clarity in communication and integrity in action when guiding clients through the complexities of buying or selling their homes.
Around town you might see me enjoying time with my family, walking my dog, Otis, biking through a natural area, teaching scuba diving, enjoying a local restaurant or brewery, hiking in the mountains, or working on my balance on a paddleboard on Horsetooth Reservoir!
